Chief Executive
The early part of Chris's career was with Wimpey Construction moving rapidly through "in house" training programmes to Senior Surveyor level within the Surveying department. He then moved into the development industry with a local contractor thereafter setting up the firm of Christopher Rodgers & Associates in 1981, quickly establishing a General Surveying Practice.
The Practice expanded to include Architecture within two years of inception and has been headed up by Chris ever since. Chris has acted for Banks and Developers for over 15 years and is well known to many of the leading Solicitors within Merseyside and Manchester , also having acted as an Expert Witness within the industry for a number of years.
Chris deals with future development of Christopher Rodgers Architects and Surveyors yet still maintains close links with Banks, Solicitors and Development Clients often orchestrating major financial and development deals throughout the Country.
He has an in depth knowledge of construction finance, development in the commercial and residential sector, construction law and enjoys unravelling complex development deals in the role of lead consultant.
In the past two years Chris has developed and grown our Energy Performance Company, Christopher Rodgers (Home & Energy) Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of certificates for residential and commercial premises, in the country.
Chris now heads up the Group as Chief Executive yet retains close relationships with other clients and staff.
Séamus Smyth BSc (DIST) MBA DMS DipSurv FRICS FCIOB FBEng
Séamus is Director of the Architectural and Project Management Division of the Company and has overall control of an expanding department with a remit to continue that expansion whilst ensuring client satisfaction at all times.
Séamus' early years were spent in fast track retail, working with some of the biggest High Street names such as Lewis's Department Store and Owen Owen. Thereafter moving into Education in a time of rapid expansion with the University of Central Lancashire Development Team managing many projects in excess of £10 million.
He joined the Practice in 1998 quickly rising to Partner level. In 2006 Séamus became a Director and Shareholder of Christopher Rodgers Ltd.
Séamus has a varied background in both Residential and Commercial development which includes site feasibility studies, assessing medium to large size schemes whilst remaining involved in the Quantity Surveying and Architectural sections of the Company.
Séamus has wide and varied experiences in various aspects of Expert Witness work and acts for a number of solicitors in this role. Séamus remains the first point of contact for clients requiring Architectural services, and developer clients requiring a multi disciplinary approach to "making things happen".
Sharon Gordon ACCA
Sharon is the Financial Director with overall responsibility of the company's finances. Her remit not only includes the requirements for accurate and timely management information that enables us to sustain our continued profitability but also to work with the directors and shareholders for our future growth strategy.
Sharon joined Christopher Rodgers early in 2005 and has brought with her a wealth of experience gained from retail, manufacturing and distribution sectors.

Sheila Whimpanny
Sheila is in the role of Business and Operations Manager in charge of ensuring our staff of 80 are exceptional in all they undertake. Sheila has been with the Company for over twenty years and has not only achieved her position through experience, she has been the catalyst for creating both internal and external training programmes for our staff, driving business development in terms of efficiencies and effecting change.
She is in charge of all personnel matters, the smooth running of the office, managing Board Meetings and personal development of both office based staff and professional staff who work from home.
